Built for the families who'll come back to it
An independent UK publisher creating thoughtful Islamic books, wall art, and gifts for Muslim families.
Why MorallyMinded exists
I started reading to my children with the books I knew I'd loved as a child, like Aesop's Fables and Just So Stories. Then the books I'd discovered as a parent: We're Going on a Bear Hunt, The Gruffalo, Love You Forever.
The books that stay with you. Stories with rhythm, characters you want to revisit, and lessons that settle without ever being announced.
I wanted that for my children - but rooted in our faith. Books where the values came from Qur'an and authentic hadith, but where the experience of reading them was as warm and enjoyable as anything else on the shelf.
That combination was harder to find than I expected. So I decided to make it.
How the books are made
Every MorallyMinded book is written in rhyme, rooted in Qur'an and authentic hadith, and illustrated with care by a trusted partner.
Each story is built around a specific verse or hadith - printed inside the book, with the reference, so families can return to the source.
Books are printed on demand by a UK partner. Each one is produced fresh and dispatched within 5–7 working days. Wall art ships within 2–3. Free UK delivery on everything.
What's coming
Books are where we started - but they're not where it ends.
We're slowly building a wider collection of meaningful things for Muslim homes. Wall art is already here. More is on the way.
Messengers of Light - a series of rhyming stories about the lives of the Prophets — is being illustrated and lands very soon, insha'Allah.
Written to be remembered
Children don't return to books because they're educational. They return because they enjoyed them.
When a story rhymes, they feel the rhythm. When characters are memorable, they want to revisit them. When they ask to hear it again - that's when the lesson settles.
Not in instruction. In enjoyment.
That's what we write for.
Who's behind it
MorallyMinded is founded and written by Ehsan Ibn Eklas, an independent author and publisher based in the UK.
Every book is written with one test in mind: would my own children ask to hear this again?
If the answer is no, it doesn't go out.
